Pumpkin Carving

This past weekend we moved the dining room table, spread out some newspapers, and attempted to carve a family of pumpkins.  Neither kid would even dare TOUCH the goop inside their pumpkins, but once hers was all cleaned out Sophia took over.  She taped on her pattern (Barbie), traced it with the hole punch, and then carved the entire thing herself.  She did so well.  Poor Brad got stuck carving Collin's Batman symbol while the little guy played in the goop.  Apparently its perfectly acceptable to touch it once its outside the pumpkin!  In the end we had five super cute pumpkins and were all very proud of our hard work.
