2 Year Stats

Last Friday we went in for Sophia's two year well baby visit (a little late due to scheduling conflicts on both ends). Dr Beebe was being induced that day so we go to see Dr Spinelli. Sophia weighed in at 24 pounds 4 ounces (19th percentile) and was 32 1/4 inches long (14th percentile). Her head is still large in the 71st percentile, but that is still within the "normal" range and is right on track with where it has been since birth. Dr Spinelli says she just needs a big head for all the brains she's got stored in there! :-) Sophia talked up a storm at the office so he is very happy with her language development. He is also happy with all her other skills and developmental milestones. She is such a smart little girl!!

After her appointment we headed back home to Hospers for Tyler's first birthday party. We had an awesome weekend and got to see Grandpa Jerry's firetrucks, ambulance, and semis, which Sophia loved. We also got to take a trip out to Uncle Larry and Aunt Nancy's and see horses, cows, and pigs. I think I had just as much watching Sophia experience these things as she did! I'm hoping we can take a trip to Uncle Rob's this summer to ride his ponies as well.

Yesterday and today were spent outside enjoying our beautiful weather and blowing lots and lots of bubbles! The girl is crazy about bubbles. Tomorrow we have another zoo trip scheduled with some friends and Sophia is SO excited, especially about the monkeys and tigers!

Off to watch my new favorite show, Parenthood.

Love,
LuCinda
