We have had an absolutely beautiful week here in Iowa. Tuesday was a little windy, but yesterday was almost perfect. We ventured out to meet the Easter Bunny with our church playgroup and then went to a new little park in West Des Moines for some outdoor fun. Sophia did pretty well with the Easter Bunny, giving him high fives and standing next to him for a couple pictures. She didn't want to sit on his lap, but she didn't fuss at all so I was happy with the encounter. We then got to take a ride on the train, which she LOVED!!! She squealed and giggled the entire time. Afterward we headed outside to the park, which Sophia always loves. The girl would stay outside year round despite the temperature if we would let her.
Today we ventured out to Windfield Park for a playgroup with our "Nestie" friends. We had a good turnout and once again it was perfect weather. Sophia is now taking a little snooze, but only since I promised we could go back outside again after she woke up (and we took a quick trip to Target and Costco).
