For the last year or so Sophia has been asking off and on to play basketball. This winter she started talking about it pretty consistently so I signed her up for Waukee's Park and Rec basketball clinic. Each Saturday in February she gets to go learn the basics of basketball, finishing up with a scrimmage this Saturday. While I would love to say her natural talent is undeniable, it looks like she takes after her mommy in basketball skills. The improvement we have seen over three weeks is incredible, though, so I think she might have some real potential if she sticks with it.
