Last week Sophia took a week long cheer camp offered through Waukee Parks and Rec. Each evening she got to spend an hour learning "real" cheers from the Waukee Warriors Cheerleaders. She was so excited and had a blast. On the last night the parents got to stay and watch what they had learned.
After observing all her new skills we headed over to the Waukee Police/Fire Departments for Public Safety Day. Sophia got to do the obstacle course, we all got to see inside police cars and fire trucks, eat dinner, and even get a ride on an old fashioned fire truck! It was a lot of fun and a great community event.
