Iowa State Fair 2015

One of the perks of Brad going back to FBL is that we get two free fair tickets.  Their official day was Tuesday, but it alternated pouring and "just" raining all day so we opted to skip.  Thankfully, yesterday was gorgeous so we headed to the fair after church.  The weather was perfect and the crowds seemed to be smaller so we really enjoyed it.  We did miss seeing some of the animals, but got to see at least a few of everything, including the biggest bull and the biggest pigs.  We also got to pet a few friendly goats and see the draft horses all hooked up to their wagons, which the kids were in awe of.  We also did Little Hands on the Farm, toured several buildings, ate some good fair food, and rode the sky glider.

Collin's favorite part was the little tractor he got to ride, Sophia loved the doll houses and sky glider, Brad was impressed by the mini Tardis, and I loved that we spent an entire day together before I sent my babies off to another  school year.  :-(

It was a great day and I wouldn't' mind making the last day of the fair a family tradition.
