At our 33 week appointment with Dr. Bedia today I was measuring a full three cm ahead so we got to have another ultrasound. Baby girl is still measuring well, but we apparently have extra amniotic fluid surrounding her. Dr. Bedia assures us this is not something to worry about, but we will need to follow this closely just to keep an eye on it. This could mean ultrasounds every couple of weeks from now until the end just to monitor the fluid levels. Coincidentally, the ultrasound tech today confirmed that we are, in fact, having a baby girl, which is good news for Crystal, Ryan, and Brad since they won't have to re-paint the nursery now!!
