Another Ear Infection

After a rough night last night we took Sophia in to see Dr Rinderknecht today and she has yet another ear infection. He does think the last one cleared up and she just got a second one right on top of it, but does want us to follow up in a week to make sure the antibiotics are working and her ear is completely infection-free again. If this doesn't clear it up, or if she gets another, we are probably looking at seeing an ENT to discuss ear tubes. The thought of surgery scares me, but I know how great tubes work for so many kids and if it means no more pain for Sophia I'm definitely on board if that's the way we need to go. So everyone keep your fingers crossed that this ear infection clears up and we get some time off from them!
