Blank Park Zoo

We got a membership to Blank Park Zoo this year so today we ventured out to enjoy the warm weather. Sophia had a blast and just kept asking to see "more aminals"! She says her favorite was the monkeys, though. We did manage to be there just as the gibbons were waking up so we got to hear their "morning song" that is allegedly able to be heard for over two miles. It was really neat and was loud and clear enough that I actually thought it was coming over the PA. They were just swinging and singing away.......pretty awesome! Sophia is already asking to go back.

After the zoo we headed to Farm Bureau for a nice picnic lunch with Brad. Unfortunately, it was just too windy to eat outside so we took over a conference room and ate in there. It was a nice lunch and its always great to get to see Brad at noon.

Unfortunately, we came home to a sick dog mess. Thankfully Sophia went down for her nap right away so I could clean up the mess. Once again I am so in love with my Spot Bot and grateful that he got to clean up the majority of the mess instead of me.

The tiger was pacing right up by the glass so Sophia got to see him up close and personal!
