First day of FIRST grade!

Sophia had her first day of first grade today.  She was so excited she could barely sleep last night, but still woke up happy and ready to go today.  Since we are driving a couple friends to school this year we needed to be up earlier than last year (still later than lots of kids at 6:30 for mom and 6:45 for Sophia), but we all survived!  We gave her the choice of meals for the day and she picked rainbow chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, grilled cheese with strawberries and broccoli for lunch, and meatloaf and mashed potatoes for dinner.  YUM!

She was so excited to go and I can't wait to hear all about it when she gets home!
