This past weekend Brad and I scheduled my mom to come babysit and we went to the Waukee Community School Foundation's annual dinner and auction. It was a great evening of chatting with other people from the community, good food, and a silent and live auction. There were some great items up for the silent auction (and some super great things for the live auction) and we put in a few bids. We ended up coming home with a full year's family membership to the YMCA and a three month membership to Crossfit Waukee. Can you guess who is going to use which one more?
The kids are BEYOND thrilled about the Y membership as we have been talking about getting one for a year, but hadn't pulled the trigger yet. Now we have one and the money we spent on it went to a great cause. Collin is most excited about swimming, Sophia can't wait to run on the track, Brad is going to try out the pick up basketball games they have each evening, and I'm looking forward to getting to lift some weights and try some classes.
