Happy Thanksgiving

Today was a day of reflection and celebration around our house.  Waking up to realize the holidays are upon us for the first time without my dad here was tough, but we have so much to be thankful for this year.  Our little girl is healthy, smart, and growing every day; Brad and I are happy, healthy, and secure with our places in the world; and our extended families are ever growing!

Today we headed to Rob and Betty's for Thanksgiving dinner #1.  We had a fabulous time and ate way too much, of course.  Its so nice to get to see the family and just spend some time catching up.  Tomorrow we will be heading up to Beaver to have dinner #2, which we will be celebrating with even more family and several of our friend Josh's Marine buddies.  It is such an honor to get to spend a day with these young men and we are all very excited.  Tomorrow night we will also be watching the lighted parade in Perry, which will be a first for Sophia.  I can't wait to see her face!
