The second weekend of June Sophia had her very first dance recital and we couldn't be more proud! She looked like a little angel, danced beautifully, and was well behaved backstage even without anyone she knew there. I've been to a lot of dance recitals in my day, but nothing prepared me for the recital Betty Hill puts on. Its held at the Civic Center and parents start lining up early to mid afternoon to be the first ones in the door at 6pm. They even sell tickets to the general public! Its quite the affair with different backdrops, stage props, and lighting. It was all very well put on and impressive. Of course, our favorite part was our adorable little ballerina. She looked so grown up and you could just tell she loved being up on stage. We can't wait until classes start up again in August.
All of the pictures are from the dress rehearsal as they were very serious about no pictures being taken during the recital itself!
