Family Zoo Trip
A couple weekends ago we ended up with a Sunday afternoon free and decided to take advantage and surprise the kids with a trip to the zoo. The kids and I go fairly regularly during the week, but its a special occasion when Brad gets to come along! We had a blast and the kids really enjoyed showing Brad around (in case he had forgotten from the previous year). We took our time looking at the animals and treated the kids to a train ride and a carousel ride. My trick to avoid paying for those every single time we are at the zoo is to say we can only do it when daddy's around so it really was a treat for them!
