OB Appointment

We had our second OB appointment today at 12 weeks 3 days.  I've gained 2 pounds, although I have a feeling at least part of that was the three glasses of water I drank right before the appointment since I wake up dying of thirst each morning.  The nurse had a hard time finding the heartbeat, but Dr Lehman found it almost instantly with a more sensitive Doppler.  This one doesn't have an exact reading, but she said it was in the high 150s to low 160s.  The office is trying to get certified in performing and reading NT scans so we will be getting a free ultrasound next Friday afternoon, which we are looking forward to, of course!  That day also officially marks our entry into the second trimester, which is just crazy.
