This past week was full of Easter activities. We did forgo the traditional egg dying as this mama just couldn't handle the potential (and probable) mess that comes along with it, but since Sophia has never done it she didn't miss it at all. On Wednesday we participated in a great Easter Egg Hunt with my mom's group, which got relocated to Southridge Mall at the last minute, but couldn't have worked out better even outside! Sunday we got up bright and early for church and Sophia came downstairs to a nice little basket from the Easter Bunny. After church I helped organize our Sunday School egg hunt, which was chaotic, but so much fun! For lunch we headed up to Rob and Betty's and ate as much as we could stuff in, followed by yet another egg hunt, and then they got out a new toy for the kids. They had run across some giant inflatable balls that the kids actually get in and roll around. To say they were a hit would be the understatement of the year! Even Sophia, who hates inflatables, jumped right in with the biggest grin on her face! It was a fabulous week/weekend, but I'm sure exhausted as a result. My cold has returned in full force and the rainy weather today isn't helping!
